As an entrepreneur and business person for over 30 years, I know that every trail begins with that one promising starting point; every business starts with a vision, a passion, and a drive.
My first restaurant was all my savings, plus I still found myself at the business end of a jackhammer knocking out concrete flooring for plumbing. I didn't budget enough for all the construction needed so I worked a deal with the General Contractor to put me on the “build” team.
Yet, like any expedition, the path of entrepreneurship can be riddled with twists, turns, and unforeseen obstacles. Navigating this terrain without a map or a trusty compass can be daunting. That's why we began The Business Trailhead. Our goal is to provide you with information that answers questions and acts as a guidepost to stimulate you toward additional research, and, yes, even motivates you to start out or even continue your pursuit. Because when the entrepreneurial spirit finds its direction, we all reach new summits together.
